When Peyton was young, she was diagnosed with a rare blood disease. She spent years in and out of the UCHealth system growing up. After graduating high school, Peyton was ready to give back and enrolled in nursing school, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, she was forced to drop out and move back home to Colorado.
She got a job as a receptionist at UCHealth and grew into a role as a certified nursing assistant. While working as a CNA, Peyton was able to go back to school and complete a certificate program to become a phlebotomy technician.
